6.4/10

The hotel is set right in the heart of Lymington, which is lovely and bright even on a dull day. The rooms, although compact, had issues with noise and lacked accessible sockets, and the shower in the suite needed attention. The dining experience offered quality food but with a limited menu selection at a reasonable price.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was compact, but the noise from outside in the early mornings due to clattering plates was disruptive. The lack of accessible electric sockets was a drawback, and the shower in the suite was in poor condition.
Service
7.0
The service from the bar to the restaurant was trying to keep up with a full hotel, although we did experience slow service. We ordered drinks and sandwiches which were satisfactory.
Location
5.0
The hotel's central location on the High Street of Lymington was convenient, but parking was a challenge when the hotel was full. The area felt a little cramped and noisy due to street cleaners taking their time to clean below.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was pleasant with freshly cooked meals of nice quality, albeit with a slightly limited menu selection. The price of £9.99 for the options available was reasonable.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were adequate, although improvements in noise insulation and room amenities could enhance the overall guest experience.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with lots of lovely extra touches, and the modern bathrooms were nice and clean. Poppy, my pet, loved the garden view from our room. However, being on the ground floor was a drawback due to noise concerns. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant experience. The location was lovely, bright, and secure, but lacking some key amenities. Dining options were varied and delicious, though could be slightly disorganized at times.

7.8/10

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was warm and cozy, overlooking the garden, but the price seemed a bit high for what was offered. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but there were a few hiccups along the way. The location was exceptional, right in the center of Lymington, though parking was a bit challenging at times. The dining experience was mostly good, though there were some delays in service. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed on the second floor in a warm and cozy room overlooking the garden. The room was well-equipped and clean, but I felt the price was a bit overpriced for the basic amenities provided.
Service
8.0
The staff, from Liz who I spoke to when booking to everyone at the hotel, were friendly and efficient. There were a few instances where the service could have been smoother, but overall, they were helpful.
Location

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right in the center of Lymington. It's perfect for easy access to the beautiful coastal paths, though parking can be a bit tricky.
Dining

The dining experience was mostly positive, with lovely meals. However, there were some delays in being served, and the food wasn't as hot as I would have liked.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered a range of facilities that were convenient, including room service and laundry service.
